Allow me to indulge myself for a moment, dear readers.
The moment you hold in your hands something you created from nothing, something that emerged over time from a tiny spark of an idea into a full-blown dream-come-true, there are no words. Not in that moment.
The look on my face is a blend of joy, wonder, awe … and disbelief – that I could manifest something so powerful, wondrous, and inspiring.
And what makes it even more magical for me is that I didn’t expect any of this. The response to Make No Mistake on Substack, the podcast, the paperback and e-book has been overwhelming and positive. This moment is possible because of you.
Thank you.
To each of you who subscribed to or followed Make No Mistake here on Substack, who has read (or is in the process of reading) all the page-turning chapters …
Thank you.
To those who have been listening to Make No Mistake on the podcast (on Apple and Spotify and here on Substack), and who are patiently (or impatiently) awaiting the release of the next chapter episodes …
Thank you.
To everyone who left hearts and comments, who restacked and shared, and expressed their excitement, worry, and delight in Maggie and friends …
Thank you.
To those who bought me lattes and paid for subscriptions, and those locally who have taken me out for coffee just to talk about the novel …
Thank you.
To those who have purchased the e-book or the paperback, who have gifted friends and families with copies, who have invited me to book clubs, who have posted Make No Mistake links and photos on their social media and who are writing reviews on Amazon and Goodreads …
Thank you.
It takes a community, and I feel blessed to have found such an encouraging and supportive community of readers here on Substack.
Words are not enough to express my appreciation, but thank you.
Congratulations Julie! What an accomplishment!
I've got a busy month of June, but in July, I could go through your book and leave reviews for you. Do you plan on leaving them here on Substack for that long?
Congratulations! What an accomplishment, Julie. This is wonderful. Is there somewhere where your Chapters live so I can begin to read and promote them? I am late to the party, and I want to participate.
