I've got a busy month of June, but in July, I could go through your book and leave reviews for you. Do you plan on leaving them here on Substack for that long?
Thank you, Anne-Marie. Make No Mistake will remain here on Substack as serial fiction and a podcast (me reading the chapters as an audiobook) for as long as I'm on Substack. So join in whenever you can. 😊
Congratulations! What an accomplishment, Julie. This is wonderful. Is there somewhere where your Chapters live so I can begin to read and promote them? I am late to the party, and I want to participate.
Thank you, Taru. You can find Make No Mistake (chapters are numbered on the main page) at juliewise.substack.com Let me know if you have any trouble finding them. And I'd love to hear your thoughts along the way. 😊
I’m happy to do that. Know that I have Wet Macular Degeneration with loss of central vision in my right eye, and a left eye that is currently undergoing periodic injections to save what’s left of my central vision there. This means it may take me a bit longer than expected to finish your book, but I definitely will do so.
Hi Taru, did you know the book is available as an audiobook? I have been reading and recording the chapters as a podcast. Let me know if that would be easier for you.
This is so exciting, Julie! I have been waiting till summer break to read your chapters. Now I think I'm going to order the paperback. :) I'll probably go in and heart each chapter as I read along and sometimes comment, as I know that bumps up visibility for you. I'm just so happy you've done this. You give me hope about my own novel in progress.
Thank you so much, Rebecca. And I really appreciate that you'll keep giving hearts and comments here in Substack even as you read the paperback. Every bit helps and I love getting reader feedback. That's been the best part about releasing Make No Mistake as serial fiction here. 🤗
Congratulations Julie! What an accomplishment!

I would love to try it. Thank you for offering it.
And if all the chapters don’t appear on that page, try this one:

This should be the link.

I haven’t released all the chapters yet on the podcast, although all are recorded. They are being released every few days.
Hope it works for you. The released chapters/episodes are listed on that page with chapter numbers so you can listen in order.
Congratulations! You deserve that smile and feeling of accomplishment! You wrote an awesome story!
Thank you, Nancy! It’s been quite the journey. Grateful for readers like you and your encouraging comments.

Julie, I feel/felt the same about releasing my memoir on Substack--the reader engagement. Such a sense of community and encouragement. So worth it!
